Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the FreshSelf mobile application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, provided by SelaLink (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application operates 100% locally and offline. It does not collect, store, or transmit your social login profiles or ingredient inventory records to any remote servers. All user-generated data remains solely on your local device. However, to improve service quality and diagnose application errors, the Application collects limited, non-identifying technical data and analytical metrics as described below:
- User-Generated Data (Inventory & Spaces): Any data you input, including Spaces, Items, and consumption records, is stored locally in the Application's SQLite database on your device. It is never uploaded to any external cloud platform or servers.
- Crash Logs & Diagnostics (Sentry): In order to identify and resolve bugs quickly, the Application collects non-identifying crash records (such as stack traces, OS version, and device model) via the Sentry service.
- Service Quality Analytics (Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics): To refine app usability, non-identifying behavior metrics (such as screen view counts and UI interactions) are gathered via Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics. None of this data can be traced back to an individual user.
- Device Camera & Photo Library Access (Optional): To allow you to take photos or choose images for your ingredients, the Application requests camera and gallery access permissions. Selected images are saved locally in the Application's sandbox directory in WEBP format and are never uploaded to any external server.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?
The Application does not collect precise GPS real-time location information of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
Since your ingredient and space data is stored locally on your device, third parties cannot access it. Technical data is shared only with trusted diagnostic and analytics platforms (Sentry, Firebase Analytics) to maintain stability. The Service Provider does not sell, trade, or transfer any user data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Retention & Deletion (App Data Reset)
Because the Application is local-only, there are no remote user accounts or databases holding your profile. Therefore, sending data deletion requests or manual account cancellation requests via email or our website is unnecessary, as there is no data on our servers to delete.
If you wish to wipe and permanently destroy all local data on your device, you may use the following options:
- In-App Data Reset: Navigate to the [Settings] tab and tap **'Reset App Data'**. This will immediately hard-delete all local SQLite database tables and sandbox images.
- Uninstalling the Application: Simply uninstall the Application from your device. The native OS sandbox directory and all stored local data will be safely and automatically deleted.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of non-identifying diagnostics by uninstalling the Application using the standard application uninstall process on your mobile device.
Children
The Application does not knowingly collect personal data from or target children under the age of 13.
Security
Your local data is safely stored within the Application's secure sandbox directory on your device. Technical diagnostics transmitted to remote servers are secured using industry-standard encrypted communication protocols.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of July 4, 2026.

By downloading and using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy and the processing of non-identifying diagnostics as detailed herein.
